Description

These Halloween Vampire Bite Cupcakes are a fun and spooky treat perfect for Halloween parties, featuring a delicious chocolate cupcake with a blood-red filling and topped with creamy frosting.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam (for filling)
  • 2 cups buttercream frosting
  • Red food coloring (for decoration)
  • Chocolate vampire teeth (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the softened butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and buttermilk to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  4. Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with the batter.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the cupcakes cool completely before filling.
  7. Using a small knife, cut a cone shape out of the center of each cupcake and fill with raspberry jam.
  8. Frost the cupcakes with buttercream frosting and add red food coloring for a blood effect.
  9. Top with chocolate vampire teeth for decoration.
