- 8 slices of ham
- 8 slices of cheese
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lay out the ham slices and place a slice of cheese on top of each.
- Roll the ham and cheese tightly and secure with a toothpick.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
- Dip each rolled ham and cheese stick in flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place the sticks on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add herbs or spices to the breadcrumbs.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
