Description

A vibrant and flavorful Kielbasa sausage dish, baked to perfection with BBQ sauce for a delightful crunch and juicy interior.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large kielbasa sausage (about 1216 oz)
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the kielbasa on a cutting board, ensuring it remains stable.
  3. Slice into the sausage at about ½ inch intervals, avoiding cutting all the way through.
  4. Combine the BBQ sauce with the minced garlic in a small bowl.
  5. Brush a light coating of olive oil onto the kielbasa, covering all sides.
  6. Arrange the kielbasa on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.
  7. Spoon the BBQ sauce mixture generously over the top.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until caramelized.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving warm.

Notes

You can prepare the sausage and sauce the day before and store in the fridge. Use an air fryer for a crisper texture, reducing cooking time to 12-15 minutes.
