- 1 large kielbasa sausage (about 12–16 oz)
- ½ cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the kielbasa on a cutting board, ensuring it remains stable.
- Slice into the sausage at about ½ inch intervals, avoiding cutting all the way through.
- Combine the BBQ sauce with the minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Brush a light coating of olive oil onto the kielbasa, covering all sides.
- Arrange the kielbasa on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.
- Spoon the BBQ sauce mixture generously over the top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until caramelized.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving warm.
Notes
You can prepare the sausage and sauce the day before and store in the fridge. Use an air fryer for a crisper texture, reducing cooking time to 12-15 minutes.
