Description

Tender, juicy shrimp bathed in a luscious honey garlic glaze that creates a sticky-sweet coating and bursts with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Steamed rice or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a medium bowl.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and toss gently to coat.
  6. Continue cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes as the sauce thickens.
  7. Serve hot over a bed of steamed rice or alongside vegetables.

Notes

For added flavor, allow the shrimp to marinate in the sauce for a brief period before cooking. Make the sauce a day in advance for better flavor blending.
