Description

A comforting dish of flavorful noodles tossed with tender beef and vibrant vegetables in a rich hoisin sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz noodles (egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin)
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Toss in thinly sliced beef and cook for 3-5 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. Stir in bell pepper and broccoli, cooking for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  6. Pour in hoisin sauce and soy sauce, stirring to combine.
  7. Gently add cooked noodles, tossing everything together.
  8. Plate the noodles and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Customize with chicken or tofu and add extra veggies for variety.
