Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (for sauce)
  • 1 tsp black pepper (for sauce)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  4. Remove chicken from buttermilk and coat in the flour mixture.
  5. Fry the chicken tenders in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. For the Cane’s sauce, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper in a bowl.
  7. Serve the chicken tenders hot with Cane’s sauce on the side.
