A creamy, comforting dish featuring succulent chicken glazed in a honey sauce with a hint of spice, served over penne pasta.

- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (bite-sized)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Season the bite-sized chicken pieces with salt and black pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, honey, soy sauce, and crushed red pepper flakes. Let simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Return cooked chicken to the skillet, stirring to coat in the sauce.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese and mix until creamy.
- Add cooked penne to the skillet and toss to combine.
- Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
Notes
Can be customized with veggies or made ahead of time. Adjust spice levels to taste.
