Jalapeño Popper Wonton Cups are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that combines the spicy flavor of jalapeños with creamy cheese, all wrapped in crispy wonton wrappers.

- 24 wonton wrappers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a muffin tin.
- Press each wonton wrapper into the muffin tin to form cups.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Fill each wonton cup with the cheese mixture.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the wonton edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra spice, use more jalapeños or add some hot sauce to the cheese mixture.
- These can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
- Garnish with additional green onions or cilantro for a fresh touch.
