Description

Savor the deliciousness of seared ribeye steak paired with a rich, creamy garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ribeye steak (1 inch thick)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the ingredients by bringing the steak to room temperature and mincing the garlic.
  2. Sear the steak in a hot cast iron skillet for 4-5 minutes until a golden crust forms.
  3. Incorporate the minced garlic on top of the steak during the last minute of cooking.
  4. Rest the steak on a cutting board for about 5 minutes.
  5. Create the sauce by melting butter in the skillet and adding heavy cream; simmer until thickened.
  6. Slice the rested steak against the grain and serve with the creamy garlic sauce and parsley garnish.

Notes

For a lighter option, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. You can also prepare the creamy garlic sauce in advance and reheat before serving.
