Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, grated ginger, and black pepper. Mix gently until everything is blended.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix gochujang with a little water to create a glaze. Brush the glaze over each meatball.
- Bake the meatballs for 15-20 minutes or until fully cooked. The internal temperature should reach 160°F (70°C).
- Remove from the oven and brush with extra glaze if desired. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For a lighter option, swap ground beef with ground turkey or chicken. This recipe also shines in an air fryer; adjust cooking time to 10-15 minutes at 375°F (190°C).
