Description

A vibrant and creamy pasta dish featuring bucatini, bright lemon juice, and fresh dill, perfect for summer dining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Bucatini Pasta
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Dill, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the bucatini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the bucatini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving a little pasta water for later.
  2. Prepare the butter sauce: In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir occasionally until it begins to brown lightly.
  3. Incorporate lemon and dill: Once browned, add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and chopped dill to the skillet and stir thoroughly.
  4. Toss the pasta: Add the drained bucatini to the skillet and gently toss to coat. If the sauce seems too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
  5. Final seasoning: Taste and season with salt as needed. Serve warm, garnished with additional dill if desired.

Notes

For make-ahead, prepare the lemon-dill sauce in advance and refrigerate. Add grilled shrimp or chicken for variation.
