- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 slices of bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, then remove and crumble.
- In the same skillet, brown the ground beef with the diced onion and bell pepper until cooked through.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked beef mixture and crumbled bacon to the egg mixture, then stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
