Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb flank steak
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Tortillas
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
- Radishes, sliced
- Cotija cheese, crumbled
Instructions
- Combine olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl to create a marinade.
- Add flank steak to the marinade, ensuring it’s thoroughly coated. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat and grill the flank steak for about 4–5 minutes on each side.
- Let the steak rest on a cutting board for a few minutes. Slice diagonally against the grain into thin strips.
- Assemble the tacos by laying strips of steak on warm tortillas and adding chopped cilantro, sliced radishes, and crumbled cotija cheese.
Notes
Marinate the steak overnight for deeper flavors. Feel free to substitute flank steak with chicken or mushrooms.
