- Salt & black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Thaw the peas by letting them sit at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes or rinsing under cool water and draining well.
- Make the dressing by whisking together mayonnaise, sour cream, salt, and black pepper in a medium bowl until creamy.
- Combine the thawed peas, shredded cheddar cheese, diced red onion, chopped hard-boiled eggs, and bacon bits in a large mixing bowl.
- Dress the salad by pouring the creamy dressing over the pea mixture and gently folding the ingredients together until coated.
- Chill the salad for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator to allow flavors to meld.
- Sprinkle with fresh dill or parsley just before serving for an herbaceous finish.
