- 12 oz Rotini Pasta
- 12 oz Spicy Sausage (Andouille or Italian)
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce (smoky or honey-based)
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder or Cayenne Pepper
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
- Fresh Parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the rotini and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet, add olive oil and sauté the sliced sausage until golden brown and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant and golden.
- Make the Sauce: Add BBQ sauce, honey, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Combine and Toss: Return the sausage and pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together until well coated.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
