Ingredients

  • 4 bratwurst sausages
  • 1 cup beer (lager or ale)
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add sliced onions.
  3. Cook onions until they are soft and golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Add brown sugar, salt, and pepper to the onions and stir well.
  5. In a baking dish, place the bratwurst and pour the beer over them.
