Description

A delectable dish featuring crispy Parmesan crusted chicken served with a rich and creamy garlic sauce, perfect for any dinner occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 thin chicken cutlets
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (for sauce)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken cutlets generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up a dredging station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan.
  3. Dredge each cutlet in flour, dip in egg, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. In the same skillet, reduce heat, add butter, and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  6. Add chicken broth, cream, and remaining Parmesan, stirring until thickened.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and garnish with parsley or thyme.
  8. Serve with your choice of sides.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or coconut cream. Coat chicken ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to cook.
