Description

A delicious twist on traditional lasagna, combining the flavors of a cheeseburger with the richness of bacon and Parmesan.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy; remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add ground beef, onion, and garlic; cook until the beef is browned.
  5. Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. In a baking dish, layer noodles, ricotta cheese, beef mixture, bacon, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  7. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add crushed red pepper flakes to the beef mixture.
  • Feel free to substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
