A deliciously sweet and tangy BBQ sauce made with fresh peaches and bourbon, perfect for grilling and marinating.

- 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup bourbon
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the chopped peaches and bourbon over medium heat.
- Cook for about 5 minutes until the peaches soften.
- Add ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard to the saucepan.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before blending until smooth.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Notes
- For a spicier sauce, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- This sauce pairs well with grilled chicken, pork, and ribs.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar based on your preference.
