- 1 cup water or oil
- 2 large eggs
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs (for filling)
- 1 cup Reese’s Cups, chopped
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions and spread evenly into the prepared pan.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth.
- Add two large eggs to the cream cheese mixture and blend until well combined.
- Pour the peanut butter cheesecake filling over the brownie layer and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the chopped Reese’s Cups over the cheesecake layer.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cheesecake layer is set and edges are lightly browned.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
You can prepare these brownies a day in advance. Consider using creamy almond or cashew butter as a peanut butter alternative. For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free brownie mix.
