Description

Irresistible brownies layered with a creamy peanut butter cheesecake topping, featuring chunks of Reese’s Cups for added flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1 cup water or oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs (for filling)
  • 1 cup Reese’s Cups, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions and spread evenly into the prepared pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth.
  4. Add two large eggs to the cream cheese mixture and blend until well combined.
  5. Pour the peanut butter cheesecake filling over the brownie layer and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped Reese’s Cups over the cheesecake layer.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cheesecake layer is set and edges are lightly browned.
  8. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

You can prepare these brownies a day in advance. Consider using creamy almond or cashew butter as a peanut butter alternative. For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free brownie mix.
