Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans, chopped

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, granulated sugar, and salt until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 15 minutes, then remove from the oven.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in chopped pecans.
  5. Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust.
