- 1 batch of brownies (homemade or store-bought)
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
- 1 cup chocolate pudding
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare the brownies according to the recipe or package instructions and let them cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gradually add the powdered sugar and peppermint extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
- Cut the cooled brownies into small squares.
- In a trifle dish or individual cups, layer the brownies, followed by a layer of chocolate pudding, then a layer of the peppermint mousse.
- Repeat the layers until the dish is full, finishing with a layer of peppermint mousse on top.
- Garnish with crushed peppermint candies and mini chocolate chips.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger peppermint flavor, increase the amount of peppermint extract.
- Can be made a day in advance for easier preparation.
