Ingredients

  • 1 batch of brownies (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare the brownies according to the recipe or package instructions and let them cool completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gradually add the powdered sugar and peppermint extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
  3. Cut the cooled brownies into small squares.
  4. In a trifle dish or individual cups, layer the brownies, followed by a layer of chocolate pudding, then a layer of the peppermint mousse.
  5. Repeat the layers until the dish is full, finishing with a layer of peppermint mousse on top.
  6. Garnish with crushed peppermint candies and mini chocolate chips.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
