Ingredients

  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks in juice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the pineapple chunks (with juice), soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Pour the mixture over the pork in the slow cooker.
