Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened (for garlic butter)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, melted butter, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture to the pumpkin mixture and stir well.
  4. Gradually add flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  7. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces, shaping each into a roll.
  8. Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet, cover, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  10. Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. While the rolls are baking, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley to make garlic butter.
  12. Brush the garlic butter over the warm rolls before serving.
