- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, rosemary, and thyme.
- Add pumpkin puree and olive oil to the flour mixture.
- Pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture and stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Once risen, punch down the dough and spread it onto a greased baking sheet.
- Use your fingers to create dimples in the dough and drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, sprinkle sea salt on top before baking.
