Ingredients

  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, rosemary, and thyme.
  3. Add pumpkin puree and olive oil to the flour mixture.
  4. Pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  7. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  8. Once risen, punch down the dough and spread it onto a greased baking sheet.
  9. Use your fingers to create dimples in the dough and drizzle with olive oil.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
