- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, combine pumpkin puree, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, nutmeg, salt, and pepper over medium heat.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and mix well.
- If desired, top with breadcrumbs and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy your cozy fall dish!
