Description

Delightful salmon balls with a crispy exterior and tender filling, served with a creamy avocado sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh salmon, cooked and flaked
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, green onions, beaten egg, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and slightly crispy.
  5. Prepare the creamy avocado sauce by mashing the avocado and mixing it with Greek yogurt, lime juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  6. Serve the warm salmon balls drizzled with the avocado sauce or alongside for dipping.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, substitute breadcrumbs with ground oats or crushed nuts. Make the avocado sauce fresh for the best flavor.
