Description

A vibrant and refreshing dragonfruit margarita that captures the essence of summer with every sip.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 1 oz Orange Liqueur
  • ½ oz Dragonfruit Simple Syrup
  • ½ oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • Sugar for rimming
  • Fresh Ice

Instructions

  1. Prepare your glass by spreading lime juice around the rim and dipping it in sugar.
  2. Simmer equal parts water and sugar with chunks of fresh dragonfruit to create the dragonfruit syrup, then let it cool.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, orange liqueur, dragonfruit syrup, and fresh lime juice.
  4. Fill the shaker with fresh ice and shake for about 15 seconds.
  5. Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
  6. Garnish with a wedge of lime or a slice of dragonfruit.

Notes

Make the dragonfruit syrup in advance and store it in the fridge. Customize flavors by adding coconut water or jalapeño.
