Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Dredge the pork chops in flour, shaking off the excess.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the pork chops and cook until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the pork chops and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  7. Gradually stir in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  8. Return the pork chops to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  9. Serve the pork chops smothered in gravy, garnished with fresh parsley.
