Description

A flavorful dish featuring spicy Cajun chicken served over garlic parmesan linguine, perfect for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 8 ounces linguine
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat and cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  4. Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, then stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Cook the linguine according to package instructions, then drain and add to the skillet with the sauce.
  6. Slice the chicken and serve it over the garlic parmesan linguine, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
