Description

Indulge in a perfectly cooked steak draped with a velvety bourbon garlic cream sauce for a gourmet dining experience at home.

Ingredients

  • Steak (your choice of cut: ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon)
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Olive Oil
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Bourbon
  • Heavy Cream
  • Fresh Parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the steak: Generously sprinkle salt and black pepper on both sides of your steak.
  2. Heat the skillet: In a cast iron skillet, pour in olive oil and heat over medium-high.
  3. Cook the steak: Gently lay the steak in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. Rest the steak: Once cooked, remove it from the skillet and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Sauté garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  6. Add bourbon: Carefully pour the bourbon into the skillet and stir to combine.
  7. Whisk in cream: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  8. Plate the steak: Slice the rested steak and spoon the sauce over the top.
  9. Garnish: Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.

Notes

Allow steak to come to room temperature before cooking for even doneness. Sauce can be prepared ahead of time and warmed before serving.
