Description

Sticky Honey Gochujang Chicken is a deliciously sweet and spicy dish that combines the rich flavors of honey and gochujang, a Korean chili paste, to create a mouthwatering meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together honey, gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and caramelized.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more gochujang to the marinade.
