Description

Deliciously fluffy cinnamon rolls filled with creamy cheesecake and fresh strawberries, topped with a rich cream cheese frosting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 batch cinnamon roll dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened (for frosting)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: If you use homemade dough, follow your favorite recipe. For store-bought, unfold and let it come to room temperature.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, diced strawberries, sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  3. Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle about half an inch thick.
  4. Add the Filling: Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the surface of the dough.
  5. Roll and Slice: Starting at one edge, roll the dough into a log and slice into 1 to 1.5-inch thick rolls.
  6. Bake the Rolls: Place sliced rolls in a greased baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Prepare the Frosting: Beat together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  8. Frost and Serve: Drizzle frosting over warm rolls and serve immediately.

Notes

For make-ahead options, prepare the dough and filling a day prior and refrigerate. Use frozen strawberries if fresh are unavailable.
