- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl until well combined.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the milk just until the dough comes together; do not overmix.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently pat it into a 1-inch thick round.
- Cut the dough into wedges and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Combine sliced strawberries with 2 tablespoons of sugar and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Allow the biscuits to cool, then slice in half, layer with strawberries and whipped cream, and crown with the other biscuit half.
- Serve immediately.
