- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 4 cups water
- 4 tea bags (black or green tea)
- 1/2 cup sugar (to taste)
- Ice cubes

Instructions
- Bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a saucepan.
- Add the tea bags and let them steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until fully dissolved.
- Let the tea cool to room temperature.
- Mash the sliced strawberries with a wooden spoon until they release their juices.
- Pour the cooled tea over the mashed strawberries and stir gently.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill.
- Serve over ice cubes, garnished with fresh strawberries.
