Description

A delightful dish combining sweet and spicy flavors, featuring tender steak and al dente pasta in a luscious garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 1 lb sirloin or flank steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce (or to taste)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the steak pieces for 5-7 minutes until browned, remove from skillet and keep warm.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn.
  4. Pour in soy sauce, honey, and sriracha, simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
  5. Return steak and pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Serve hot, garnishing with fresh parsley or basil.

Notes

Customize with grilled tofu for a vegetarian option or add veggies for extra crunch.
