- 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
- 1 lb sirloin or flank steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sriracha sauce (or to taste)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the steak pieces for 5-7 minutes until browned, remove from skillet and keep warm.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn.
- Pour in soy sauce, honey, and sriracha, simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
- Return steak and pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve hot, garnishing with fresh parsley or basil.
Notes
Customize with grilled tofu for a vegetarian option or add veggies for extra crunch.
