Description
A rich and indulgent dessert featuring three layers of chocolate mousse, perfect for chocolate lovers.
Ingredients
- Dark chocolate: 200g
- Milk chocolate: 200g
- White chocolate: 200g
- Heavy cream: 600ml
- Eggs: 4
- Sugar: 100g
- Vanilla extract: 1 tsp
- Salt: a pinch
Instructions
- Start by melting the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.
- In a separate bowl, whip 200ml of heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- In another bowl, beat 2 eggs with half of the sugar until pale and fluffy.
- Fold the melted dark chocolate into the egg mixture, then gently fold in the whipped cream.
- Pour the dark chocolate mousse into the bottom of serving glasses and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Repeat the process with the milk chocolate and then the white chocolate, layering each mousse on top of the previous layer.
- Chill the assembled mousse for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings or whipped cream if desired.
