Description

A rich and indulgent dessert featuring three layers of chocolate mousse, perfect for chocolate lovers.


Ingredients

  • Dark chocolate: 200g
  • Milk chocolate: 200g
  • White chocolate: 200g
  • Heavy cream: 600ml
  • Eggs: 4
  • Sugar: 100g
  • Vanilla extract: 1 tsp
  • Salt: a pinch

Instructions

  1. Start by melting the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip 200ml of heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. In another bowl, beat 2 eggs with half of the sugar until pale and fluffy.
  4. Fold the melted dark chocolate into the egg mixture, then gently fold in the whipped cream.
  5. Pour the dark chocolate mousse into the bottom of serving glasses and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Repeat the process with the milk chocolate and then the white chocolate, layering each mousse on top of the previous layer.
  7. Chill the assembled mousse for at least 2 hours before serving.
  8. Garnish with chocolate shavings or whipped cream if desired.

  • Let the mousse chill completely for the best texture.
