Description

A delicious Turkey Pesto Melt featuring sun-dried tomatoes, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of whole grain bread
  • 4 oz sliced turkey breast
  • 2 tbsp pesto
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread pesto on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer turkey, sun-dried tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese on one slice of bread.
  4. Top with the other slice of bread, pesto side down.
  5. Brush the outside of the sandwich with olive oil.
  6. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
