Instructions
- Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet, allowing it to shimmer.
- Sauté the onion and garlic, stirring for about 2-3 minutes until translucent and fragrant.
- Cook the ground turkey, breaking it apart as it cooks for about 5-7 minutes until golden-brown and fully cooked.
- Incorporate the diced zucchini and chopped bell pepper, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
- Add the can of diced tomatoes, including juices, and sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Finish by sprinkling grated Parmesan on top and garnishing with fresh basil just before serving.
