Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Fresh herbs (like cilantro or mint) for garnish
  • Cooked rice or salad for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, lime juice, minced garlic, ginger, and vegetable oil in a mixing bowl. Whisk until sugar dissolves.
  2. Place chicken breasts into the bowl, coating generously with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or heat a grill pan over medium heat, lightly oiling the surface.
  4. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6 to 7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Allow chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing to retain juices.
  6. Serve over rice or in a salad, garnished with chopped herbs.

Notes
