Description

A delightful appetizer featuring warm brie cheese with crisp apples, drizzled in a luscious fig honey glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 wheel brie cheese
  • 2 crisp apples, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish
  • Crackers or bread, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the wheel of brie in a baking dish.
  3. Arrange the thinly sliced apples around the brie.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine fig jam and honey over low heat until warmed.
  5. Drizzle the fig honey glaze over the brie and apples.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the brie is soft and melty.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh thyme leaves.
  8. Serve warm with crackers or pieces of rustic bread.

Notes

You can make the apples and glaze ahead of time. Avoid overbaking the brie for best texture.
