Ingredients

  • 4 ripe pears (Bartlett or Bosc)
  • 1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, or chopped strawberries)
  • 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the pears in half and scoop out the core.
  3. Arrange the pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
  4. Combine the mixed berries, honey, chopped walnuts, and crumbled blue cheese in a mixing bowl.
  5. Stuff each pear half with the berry mixture, pressing down lightly.
  6. Top each pear with a small piece of butter and optional cinnamon.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pears are tender and caramelized.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with extra berries or honey.
