Description

Delightful breakfast rolls filled with scrambled eggs, savory ham, and melted cheese, wrapped in flaky dough.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of refrigerated dough
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Chopped chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the dough package instructions.
  2. Scramble the eggs with salt and pepper in a skillet over medium heat until soft and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. Roll out the refrigerated dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness, then cut it into rectangles (approximately 4×6 inches).
  4. Place a spoonful of scrambled eggs, diced ham, and a sprinkle of shredded cheese onto the center of each rectangle.
  5. Roll each rectangle from one end to the other, sealing the seams tightly.
  6. Place them seam-side down on your baking sheet.
  7. Bake according to dough package instructions or until baked through and golden brown.
  8. Serve warm, drizzled with a simple lemon butter sauce and garnished with chives or parsley.

Notes

Prepare the rolls the night before and refrigerate to bake fresh in the morning.
