- 1 package of refrigerated dough
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Chopped chives or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the dough package instructions.
- Scramble the eggs with salt and pepper in a skillet over medium heat until soft and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
- Roll out the refrigerated dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness, then cut it into rectangles (approximately 4×6 inches).
- Place a spoonful of scrambled eggs, diced ham, and a sprinkle of shredded cheese onto the center of each rectangle.
- Roll each rectangle from one end to the other, sealing the seams tightly.
- Place them seam-side down on your baking sheet.
- Bake according to dough package instructions or until baked through and golden brown.
- Serve warm, drizzled with a simple lemon butter sauce and garnished with chives or parsley.
Notes
Prepare the rolls the night before and refrigerate to bake fresh in the morning.
