Description

Delight in the comforting and indulgent experience of brioche French toast, perfectly golden and served with rich maple syrup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices brioche bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Butter for cooking
  • Maple syrup for serving
  • Powdered sugar for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, sugar, and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl until well combined.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt butter until bubbly.
  3. Dip each brioche slice into the egg mixture, soaking for a few seconds on each side.
  4. Gently place the soaked bread in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer cooked slices to a warm plate and serve immediately with maple syrup and powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

Use slightly stale brioche for the best texture. Enjoy with seasonal fruits or whipped cream for extra delight.
