Description

Transform Brussels sprouts into a delightful dish with crispy bacon and a sweet honey glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the Brussels sprouts, removing any discolored outer leaves.
  3. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop, reserving the drippings.
  4. Toss the halved Brussels sprouts into the skillet with the bacon drippings. Drizzle with honey and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Roast for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through.
  7. Add the chopped bacon back before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding balsamic vinegar or red pepper flakes.
