- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, halved
- 6 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim the Brussels sprouts, removing any discolored outer leaves.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop, reserving the drippings.
- Toss the halved Brussels sprouts into the skillet with the bacon drippings. Drizzle with honey and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Add the chopped bacon back before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding balsamic vinegar or red pepper flakes.
