Description

Comforting baked potato stacks filled with savory ground beef and melty mozzarella cheese, creating a delightful medley of flavors and textures.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 medium-sized potatoes (Yukon Gold or sweet potatoes)
  • 300g ground beef (or ground turkey for a lighter option)
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese (fresh or melting cheese)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil the potatoes in salted water for about 15-20 minutes until tender.
  3. Drain the potatoes and let cool slightly before slicing into 1/2 inch thick rounds.
  4. Brown the ground beef in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until no longer pink.
  5. Layer potato slices in a baking dish, followed by browned beef, and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
  6. Repeat layering until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until edges are crispy and cheese is bubbling.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Assemble the dish a day prior for convenience. Adjust baking time when cooking from cold. Customize with veggies if desired.
