Description

A delightful and indulgent dish featuring roasted shrimp and creamy cheese baked in a hollowed-out French bread loaf.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 French bread loaf
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the French bread in half lengthwise and hollow out some of the insides.
  3. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque.
  5. In a bowl, mix the cooked shrimp with cream cheese, half of the mozzarella, and chopped parsley.
  6. Fill the hollowed-out bread with the shrimp mixture and top with the remaining mozzarella.
  7. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot, pulling apart the bread for a cheesy bite.

Notes

Make-Ahead: Prepare the shrimp mixture in advance and refrigerate. Remember not to overcook the shrimp and keep the bread hollowed sufficiently.
