- 9 lasagna noodles (cooked to al dente)
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey, lentils, or other substitutes)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
- Transfer the cooked beef to a bowl and mix in 1 cup of marinara sauce.
- Spread ricotta cheese evenly over each lasagna noodle.
- Add a spoonful of the beef mixture and a sprinkle of mozzarella on top of the ricotta.
- Roll each noodle up tightly and place seam-side down in a baking dish.
- Pour remaining marinara sauce over the roll-ups and sprinkle with Parmesan and mozzarella.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Make-ahead by preparing the night before and refrigerating. For a crispy exterior, consider using an air fryer instead of baking.
