- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed

- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- Begin by boiling the cubed potatoes in salted water until they reach fork-tender perfection, approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
- Drain well, allowing steam to escape thoroughly. Then, mash the potatoes with butter, milk, salt, pepper, and parsley until smooth.
- In a skillet over medium heat, drizzle the olive oil. Once hot, toss in the diced onion, allowing it to soften.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute. Introduce the ground beef, cooking until it turns brown.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let this mixture simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) while preparing your baking dish.
- Use a scoop or your hands to form thick rounds of mashed potatoes in the dish. Create a small well in each mound and fill with the beef mixture.
- Generously shower the tops with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve warm immediately.
