Description

A warm, cheesy Stromboli roll filled with pepperoni and a blend of cheeses, encased in a crispy golden crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Brush the dough with olive oil using your pastry brush.
  4. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Layer pepperoni slices and shredded cheeses over the sauce.
  6. Sprinkle Italian seasoning generously on top.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log, starting from one long edge.
  8. Pinch the ends to seal the Stromboli.
  9. Place the Stromboli on a prepared baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Brush the top with the egg wash.
  11. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  12. Let it cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

For best results, ensure your dough is floured to prevent sticking. You can make the filling ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake.
